It allows you to asses the information and choose the method that best suits you and your child. It is straightforward and easy to read and answers any and all questions that you may have. There are other resources at the end of the book, and tips and suggestions all the way through...all around very helpful book.

Waaaaaaay to much emphasis on potty training tiny infants:
The author of this book seemed to me to have a clear bias towards methods of potty training used in places in the world where people do not use diapers and thus begin potty training at a mere 2-3 months of age. If I had noticed that such a large portion of this book was devoted to 'baby-training' versus toddler training, I would not have purchased it. The small sections on toddler training weren't worth the money, as they had no more information that you could get out of any parenting magazine article on potty training.

Different strokes for all the little folks:
This book teaches all of the methods of potty training so you can decide for yourself what would be most comfortable for you and your baby, according to the age and personality. It has great suggestions for motivating toddlers. It worked for my child!
