Uttertly Fantastic!: The second collection of liberty meadows is fantastic. All the fav characters are back ( Frank, Brandy, Truman, Dean, Ralph and Leslie) with the addition of new ones. Jen, Brandy's skanky roommate and Brandy's mom. This collection features great comics such as Frank's blind date with "Debbie the Psycho" who looks an awful lot like Cathy from the "Cathy" comic strips, The wild fire that sweeps through the sanctuary, Frank and his star wars collectables and of course Frank's BBQ, which ends the book making us want more! If you are looking for a fun read this is it. Liberty Meadows pokes fun at everything while making us care what happens and goes on in the life of these characters.
Liberty meadows: I wasn't an avid comic book reader, but after finding Liberty Meadows by Frank Cho, I realized I missed many years of fun and appreciation for an art that is not receiving the proper respect and attention that deserves. "The Monkey Boy Cho" is one of the most talented artist I've known, the way he fusions drawings, color and prose makes me realize that Comics are real art, with humor. The recollection of strips in "Creature Comforts" are very enjoyable and each one funnier than the last. The simple lines of the characters, either be animals or humans, show such details that you actually can "feel" their emotions. And the backgrounds take you, without a doubt, to "Liberty Meadows Animal sanctuary". I highly recommend this book and any other written and/or drawn by Frank Cho.
