There is some interesting information in this book, but there are also some problems with it. One problem is that the books has some factual inaccuracies, such as referring to the character of Blade as a DC (rather than Marvel) Comics propert. Relatively minor, but it casts the accuracy of the whole book into question. The second problem is indicated by my example above -- for a book entitled "Read On... Horror", too much of its contents are devoted not to books, but to movies. The third problem is an issue of editorial standards, as some of the books included in the list are from vanity presses. That being said, I haven't read the books in question, so it is possible that they are perfectly acceptable horror. Overall, a worthwhile book for the library but not one to purchase for personal use.
