An interesting take on the view of our top dressage professionals.: I really like how this book is put together. It interviews 4 top dressage trainers and asks them modern questions about the sport of dressage, what they think of judges, what makes a good horse, when to train a horse to do what. It is not a training how-to book but it gives you a glimpse into what they believe is an ideal way to do dressage. They state their opinions on how they wish the sport would change in the future for the betterment of the horses. They give you their training techniques here and there throughout the book. My favorite part is the question and answer done with each person. Beautiful color pictures of horses doing piaffe and passage. A good read with really good advice; wish all horseback riders could listen and follow their philosophies and the horse world would be a much better place.
