More Information: enjoyed using the exercise programs in 'The Abs Diet Get Fit Stay Fit Plan'. There are more weight training exercises then in the author's first book ' The Abs Diet' so a beginner can learn more exercises for the the arms and legs. No new abs exercises in this book compared to the first book, but great advice on diet and lifestyle changes. I recommend to anyone just starting out on an exercise program for basic exercises and great advice on eating right. Also recommend "The Backsmart Fitness Plan"- great core and abs exercises and weight training workouts." And of course "The Abs Diet"- great information on diet and abs exercises.
Even better than the original abs diet book: This book has been very helpful to me. It reinforced the stuff that I learned from the original abs diet book and gave me a lot of new weight and interval workouts to choose from. So now, I change my weight workout every 4 weeks because there are so many options in the book. There is less nutrition info than the original book and this is good because if it's already in the original book then there is no need to repeat it. The workouts are very challenging and I sweat like crazy when I do them. I followed the genius dumbbell workout, abs and the treadmill interval for 4 weeks and at the 2 week mark I had lost 5 pounds and my body fat percentage had fallen. Long term, this sensible plan certainly can change your body from less fat to more muscle. My only complaint about the book was the muscle diagrams on pages 72-80. The diagrams should have been labelled. This book is worth the money.
