Excellent beading book:
I first saw this book recommended on a beading site. What a fantastic book for teaching all the basics and then some. I covers threads, needles, types of beads and fabrics. Then it shows you the basic stitches and more advanced ones. It's not just for beading on quilts. It also shows you how to do buttons, brooches and other decorative items. many great inspirational pages. I'd recommend this book to others who are beginner-intermediate beaders and there's even some ideas for advanced beaders. While it doesn't go into all the beading stitches there is enough to get started and from there you can experiment. The spiral binding is a bonus if you want the book to lie flat while trying some stitches.
