Good section on weapons; the monsters deserve more respect: The title of this book would lead you to think that it's for the type of monster hunters you see on Supernatural -- targeting the baddies who'd just as soon tear your throat out as leave you on your own when you're walking in the woods. It's not. It's for the bounty hunters. The main focus on the entries is what kind of trophy you can take away from the hunt, and not why you might want to kill the creature. Even then, the information is highly misleading -- you're not going to get much white meat from a Roc; a bird that carries off baby elephants to feed its young is going to build enough muscle that they're all dark meat! (and yes, I know this is a parody, but sticking it in the same section as the Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbooks can get a reader's hopes up for some degree of research. Or writing that makes it seem like it was researched.)
