very funny:
dave barry is, as someone else said, the funniest man alive. I really dont know how he continues to come up with new material, but I have never read one of his columns without laughing. I also liked "naked" by david sedaris, "kick me" by paul feig, and "welcome to the nuthouse!" by peter mckay

funniest ever!!!:
I've never read anything funnier than this book. Dave Berry is extremely hilarious and sarcastic in his unique way of exposing some truths about our society and who we are. A must read, you won't regret it.

What can I say, I love Dave Barry:
Dave Barry is one of the funniest people in the world. I love his unique style of storytelling. This book made me laugh so hard that I had to stop reading in bed. My husband became irritated that I was waking him with my violent giggling. As a warning to everyone, watch out for the laughing fits you'll have when you read these tidbits.

Hilarous but Dated:
As one other reviewer commented, Dave Barry is the funniest man on earth, who writes the funniest books on earth. This book, a collection of some of his earlier columns for the Miami Herald, is no exception to this rule. It covers his usual odd topics including traffic, homebrew beer, politics, and... weasels. You really have to read it to understand the book, but I'll say that it's really funny. The only problem (and the reason it's lacking one star) is that some of his humor is based on current events and politics, and while it's still hilarious, some of these works (from the early 90s) are becoming outdated. Otherwise, a great read, especially if you can find it for cheap.
