Didn't Meet Expectations:
I found this book didn't meet my expectations. The chapters on nutrition and health care concerns were inadequate. I felt that this book would be a good introduction to the breed for someone considering purchasing their first miniature horse, but it was too basic to be of real value for the experienced horseperson. It's a basic overview of minis, and would probably appeal to someone looking for general information of interest rather than a detailed reference for breeding, training, health etc.
