I bought this book and I think it is fantastic!!!! I loved it and it has taught me alot and made me see these lwomen of the bible in a different way. Also it is amazing how we too have alot in common with them. when I started with Ruth I asked myself oh! what else could I learn from this woman but was I ever mistaken because there is so much that we as women can relate to them. I highly recommend it!
The best book you will ever read!!:
First off, the review from Publishers Weekly is entirely inaccurate. That review is based solely on the Introduction, and it's obvious to me that they never read any chapters. This is an incredible book. Pastor Paula not only teaches you how to deal with issues in your life, but she also provides information on all the featured women to help you better know them. No matter what your religous belief, everyone has situations in their life that must be dealt with. This book takes you step by step of what you need to do. Even though this book is targeted for women, there is a lot that men can take away from this book as well.
