Believe it or not: A group of American businessmen hatch a plot to install a Facist dictator in the White House. Good plot, you think. But this is *non-fiction*. It happened in the 1930s. The plotters made the mistake of trying to use a retired major general. He feigned interest while collecting evidence, then went before a Congressional Committee. The ringleaders were rich and influential, so the whole thing was suppressed. This book was first published in the 1970s and had been out of print since then. To read it, I had to ask my local library to borrow a copy on inter-library loan. Now it is back in print. It reads like good fiction but it is real. Read it; you will not be disappointed.
