Very nice book with more than 100 accessible easily done cocktail recipes, each with at least one picture showing how it should be presented. Colorful, easy to use, great for parties ! -Traduction Française Disponible-

Fun at parties, a joy at home.:
Tons of fun to take to parties where you know there will be a large variety of alcohols and mixes. We saw this book at a friends party and had to have a copy of it for our very own. The graphics and pictures are colorfully styled to re-create that 50s retro feel and that's part of the fun. While you and your friends gather round the book and select recipes to try, you get to look at all the neat-o pictures and old liquor adds taken from 50s magazines. There is also a well thought out section near the front of the book on the proper drinking glasses and bar utensils to have in your collection in order to correctly dress the perfect cocktail. I do however advise you to watch your pocket book. One could easily empty ones bank account in an effort to accumulate the large variety of booze, mixes, condiments and accessories required to be become the expert drink maker. To reasonably and soberly be able to make and sample the vast number of cocktails in this book might take you a year or two on your own. However by the end of that time you should have a very well stocked bar and all the goodies to host one incredible party making you the hero of the adult beverage. So whether you want impress your date with a Coq Rouge or simply sip on a Long Island Iced Tea on a hot day, this cute little book is the ultimate bar companion. Damn, it's just a fun book.
