Buy this even just for the photos!: This is one of those handy little books that is just a joy. For starters, the full-colored photos (almost one each per recipe) speak volumes: the photos are superb and so multi-textured that you could seemingly eat the devil's food cake (pg 25) and the chocolate brulee (pg 63) right off the page! The book begins with a brief (just 3 pages) introduction to the types of chocolate, how to melt it, and how to store it. From then on, the recipes begin with six chapters - each devoted to the kind of dessert. Thus: chocolate baking, chocolate cakes, chocolate biscuits, teacakes and squares, tarts and pies, and chocolate puddings.
