My son's favorite book!!!:
My son has loved this book from the first reading at 5 months old! He's now almost 1 year old and still his face lights up when we pull it out of the reading basket. A simple story of a little white fish searching for his mother. Each double page spread shows Little Fish encountering a sea creature, a red crab, an orange starfish or a blue whale for example, and we ask if this is his mother. No... (Very much like Are you my mother? by Eastman but much more colorful and simpler) An introduction to colors and to sea creatures and full of repetition. The bright primary colors on the dark, black sea background made it easy for my son to pick out Little Fish and the other creatures. While we have the French version, I am so so happy to see it in English as it will be on our gift list to all my son's little friends for their upcoming first birthdays. A must have for a baby-toddler library.
