Too much fluff: I bought this book last week and was very excited when I received it. What a disappointment it was. I read through the whole book the first day and didn't really understand some of the terms. I figured maybe I should just try the exercises and it was very frustrating when you don't know what the heck the authors means. His terms are very technical and no good for a beginner. I don't consider myself a beginner watercolorist but a beginner with the wet on wet technique. The author instead of giving concrete instruction on the technique to follow talks about what one should be noticing and studying while leaving the reader unsure as to what to do. This book is filler with empty descriptions. If you are looking for a step by step guide try another book.
