The money I paid for this book could have been better utilized elsewhere... pretty words and goofy stories... I wanted some information!!! not a bunch of foolishness sorry but I was disspointed... There are better books out there.

THE BEST VIBRATION/GEMSTONE BOOK IN PRINT!!!!!:
As someone who works with the vibrations/energies/ and beauty of gemstones, I have read many books in this area. I think that the Twintreess' book "STONES ALIVE" is one of the best books out there. Not only does it give information on how the mineral in formed and where it can be found, but unlike other authors who write about the vibration or energy of a stone the Twintress are the "real deal" because they have given the stones their voice. The stones themselves tell about their energy and their purpose for being on this planet. The stone stories from others who have used/worn/or come across a certain stone are truly interesting to read and gets the reader excited about entering the mineral kingdom and having these experiences for themselves. WAY TO GO! IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT SOMEONE ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE STONES AND LET THE STONES TELL THEIR STORY. I LOVED THE BOOK AND USE IT OFTEN!!!

Fellow Tribespeople! This book really delivers...i get new alignment help every time i read even a bit of it. Yesterday i spent an hour and a half or so reading it and seeking some inspiration and stone knowledge...(hadn't really sat with it for many moons)and today; a person i'd never met before spontaneously,unsolicited; gave me a beautiful unbroken Geode-Core....with a little Crystalline-Curtained window, and door. Nobody had given me a rock for a WHILE... Hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Anyone actually reading the book can glean quite a bit of "Hard Science" from it...but anyone approaching it with a shirt stuffed with EGO had best stick with their Mensatites... Just as it is with Life...a lot of what is really going on in it seems to be working on subtle levels... As Lao Tzu said..."without that Laugh, it wouldn't be the Tao!" This is a very valuable resource book,and a quirky re-Creational read...Yes; a bit of suspension of disbelief might come in handy, and isn't that a little True of Specifically the very best things in Life? Who was it said "unless you become as these little ones..." ? Anyway....It Leaps! Are we in Danger of running out of Stone Books which Plod?! Love it... Thanks, Twintrees ! (and Friends!)

A Very Full Book!!:
The coolest thing about this book is that besides the more "regular" information about stones like their composition and such, they let us hear from the stones themselves!! I know that like me, many people are attracted to stones for their beauty as well as their healing properties. The information that is usually presented in books about how they help us heal has been mostly from peoples experiences with the stones. That is wonderful but it is so delightfull to hear what the stones feel they have to offer us. There is so much love coming from these pages, it is just a delight!! If you are like me and have a lot of books on stones but want something deeper and more fullfilling, get this book. You will love it!!
