'Blows the mind': If you're looking for a normal book then forget Mind Bomb because there is absolutely nothing normal about this story. From chapter one's opening passages I was gripped by this highly imaginative tale about twin brothers. While on holiday in Cambodia, one of the brothers sits on a land mine but, instead of being blown up, he enters another dimension where he relives his twin's life. And so the roller coaster ride begins because the author uses this bizarre situation as a springboard to propel the reader into a journey through time. I read a review about Mind Bomb where it was described as a 'Bombhanger', and that is exactly what it is because the reader never knows what will happen next but you know it will be either very exciting, totally weird or absurdly funny. Which brings me to the most important point about the story. Mind Bomb is one of the most darkly humorous novels I have ever read. It is well written and deserves a five brilliant stars review.
