From Amazon.com: As they celebrate their high school graduation, four friends are involved in a hit-and-run accident when their car hits--and apparently kills--a pedestrian on an isolated roadway. They dispose of the body and vow to keep the incident a secret, but a year later somebody starts sending them letters bearing the warning "I Know What You Did Last Summer." At that point the panicked foursome becomes the target of an elusive serial killer whose disguise consists of a fisherman's slicker and a lethal ice hook. Part mystery and part slasher flick, this thriller was heavily hyped as a follow-up to Scream by screenwriter Kevin Williamson (who later created the TV series Dawson's Creek), and like Scream it's a showcase for a teenage cast including Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar. And while this shocker isn't as inspired as Scream, it's guaranteed to give its target audience a few good thrills as it dives toward a routine climax of mayhem and murder. Based (rather loosely) on the popular novel by Lois Duncan. --Jeff Shannon
Next Time That You Decide To Hide A Body - Think Again: Great stars...excellent script with bone chilling scenes. A MUST SEE MOVIE.
MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE!: I LOVE THIS MOVIE! IT WAS FANTASTIC! the acting was excellent the plot was good the kills were creepy and with not too much gore. I also love that Sarah Michelle Gellar was in it she is the best and my favourite actress! When four frinds, Julie, Ray, Barry and Helen are out for a night of partying getting ready for colledge after the summer the accidentally hit a man and decide to dump his body in the waterto cover it up. One year later Julie gets a letter: I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. That's when someone starts killing them off with a large sharp hook! With one of the best Chase scenes ever in a movie between Helen in the Fisherman (the killer). I highly recomend it, it was really creepy and full of good scares (not the cheap ones where people just pop up everywhere) the scares build on each other to create one of the most memorable and creepy movies ever! Excellent movie!! Also see 'Scream' if you like this. Or if you liked 'Scream' watch this!
If you leave a man for dead, make sure he's really dead!!: When a group of four graduates, who are getting ready to part company for summer, go for a late night drive, the driver is drunk. He hits a man. They think he is dead so they dump his body in the ocean to let it get eaten by sharks. They then go on with their lives. WRONG ASSUMPTION. The next summer, Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) starts getting pictures and notes sent to her with the cryptic message "I know" written on them. She reunites with her friends Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Barry (Ryan Phillipe) and Ray (Freddy Prinze Jr) to find out what is going on. It turns out that all of them except Ray has been getting the strange notes too. Soon, one by one they are picked off one by one by a man with a hook for a hand. Finally, Julie comes face to face with the man they thought they had killed for a chilling finale. Watch it alone and with the lights out!
I Know...: Great 90's teen slasher film... If you liked Scream 1-3 or Urban Legend then you'll like this movie for sure... Check out I Still Know What You Did Last Summer as well!
I Know What You Did Last Summer: It was even scarier than Scream. I loved the movie and the acting was realy good. If you see this movie you are going love it...and you will never want to drive again...
