Different approach to Thai Language Learning:
This book gives more that just language lessons. It includes cultural guidelines, which really helped me put the learning into the right 'social' settings. The accompanying audio CDs also helped clarify the pronunciation, which I find is the most difficult part of the Thai language (A tonal language, very different from my German mother tongue). In short: Pros: New approach, effective in my case ! Cons: It is the only book, so one cannot proceed learning further in the same manner.
