TEN STARS! GREAT ALBUM!:
Their name tells it all! The absolute best blue eyed soul ever. A combination of the Righteous Brothers, the original Temptations and the Impressions only begin to make up the Magnificent Men. Excluding them (and the Persuasions) from PBS' DooWop, leaves that Series (although great) incomplete. The fact that these superb singers never received the notoriety they so rightfully deserved has left the music industry sorely cheated of their phenomenal talent. Rich soulful harmony throughout this entire album makes it an absolute must - every song is a winner. Five stars are just not enough for the Magnificent Men.

One of the All-Time Best Groups:
The "Mag Men". One of the all-time best groups you probably never heard, unless you are from central Pennsylvania. This music never gets old...it is timeless. They were known as the blue-eyed soul brothers. They were as good as the best. Buy this album and it will be one of you favorites. Dave Bupp and Buddy King. I just wish I could hear them one more time in person. Great memories!

GREAT memories:
I, along with everyone else that wrote a review, have great memories of the Mag Men and found this CD nothing short of spectacular. Tom Payne (sax) lived around the corner from us in New Cumberland, spoke with him a few years back looking for more music! But this CD gets lonely. Wish the other 2 albums were available as well. Memories of the Sunny Club, Raven Club, etc, Fantastic - just fantastic.

Blue Eyed Soul at its Best:
Soul Music at its Best. The Mag Men were, and are still my favorite band. With the reunion shows each year they keep it coming and coming. Can't wait until the next one. Would like to see all the album's make cd, expecially the Magnificent Men Live, this one captured the real soul of the Mag Men. Buddy and Dave are still at the top of their game and the game is Soul Singing, the only game in town. This cd shows how good white boys can play and sing, a must buy if you like Soul Music.

A necessity:
I absolutely need 4 copies: one each for home, car, work, and girlfriend's house.
