Happy music from the happy music days. I love this cd becouse its a feel good be happy cd. bjorn skifs is a famous swedish star and this is his gift from sweden to the world back in time. His song "hooked on a feeling" is played in serie Ally Mcbeal and in the movie Reservoir Dogs etc. enjoy it!

For a short time there seemed to be a stream of hits coming from the Scandanavian countries, including Shocking Blue, The George Baker Selection, and Blue Swede, led by vocalist Bjorn Skefs. This best-of includes the 10 tracks on Blue Swede's American debut LP ("Hooked on a Feeling") plus two bonus tracks. Included in that is the group's #1 1974 cover of B.J. Thomas' "Hooked on a Feeling" (with the famous 'Ooga-chucka' intro), plus lesser-known hits such as their cover of The Association's "Never My Love." This is competent bubblegum-flavored rock, but little of it rises to the memorable qualities of their #1 single.
