PRETTY GOOD IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD IT A ZILLION TIMES!:
SO YOU LIKE REDNECK STYLE COUNTRY! WELL THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS ALBUM ALREADY. HANK SHINES ON THIS ALBUM. I HAVE READ THE BOOK ABOUT HANK WILLIAMS JR. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO IS A HANK WILLIAMS JR FAN TO READ THE BOOK IF THEY HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY. THE MOVIE MADE FROM THE STORY WAS OKAY ALSO. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAD WITH THE MOVIE THOUGH WAS THEY SELECTED THE ACTOR "RICHARD THOMAS" TO PLAY THE HANK JR ROLE. IF YOU REMEMBER RICHARD THOMAS FROM THE TV SERIES "THE WALTONS" (JOHN BOY) YOU WILL WONDER AS I DID HOW ANYONE COULD HAVE PICKED HIM FOR THE PART. WELL ANYWAY, BUY UP ALL OF HANKS OLDER ALBUMS ON CDs IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO.(AND IF YOU LIKE GOOD OLE REDNECK STYLE MUSIC)

One of the best:
The title track is one of the best country songs ever performed proving the talents of Hank as a true caftsman when it comes to song writing. Fitting that category as well are Outlaw Women, and Women I've Never Had. Hank also lends his southern rockin' style to White Lightnin' written by J.P. Richardson a.k.a. the big bopper. What Bocephus album would be complete without at least one tribute to his father? Hank serves up a whopper here along with Waylon Jennings in a classic called The Conversation. In a time, much like today, when country was straying from it's roots Hank finds a way to keep the southern bluesy traditions alive on all ten cuts of this must have country album.

Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound is stone cold country at it's best . i have the CD and the casstte of it and i play it a lot and i never seem to get tired of it. and O.D.'D in Denver is one of my all time favorite hank songs with that southern rock sound to it .. buy this and you will love it and at the great price you can't go wrong..

Great Album!!:
This is where Hank really starts coming true to form as we know him today! Family tradition was a good album but this one is great! Filled with great hits, any Hank fan will truly appreciate this album which includes Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound, O.D.'d in Denver, etc.
