Once back in 1980, the time the album was released , a great diskjockey here in Holland (Ferry Maat's Soul Show) said, while playing "Give Me The Night", in his broadcast show : "The Night Is All Yours, George". And it was..... a big entry, and since that time I never forget this album. I think the time was right, Quincy Jones wrote in his story. George is one of those talents God created and gave us. An amazing talent which we'll never find it anywhere.

I really can't add to what the others have written, except to say that fellow jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour is used extensively on this album. It would be interesting to know why? Was it because GB didn't have the time to do all the guitar parts or did Rit bring something to the table that GB couldn't? No matter, this is a fine pop recording by a legendary jazz guitarist.

Bad! Still Fresh After 22 Years:
This CD is amazing. There is not a single track that sucks here. Everything is totally fresh and Q's producing is right on. Patti Austin belts it on Moody's Mood. Rit throws down on his own guitar parts. The only downside is that it's short. I would have loved to see this team do more together. This is worth it just because of who worked on it. The engineer, Bruce Swedien is still a force to be reckoned with. Q is always the consumate pro. This is a total classic. Enjoy it!
