I have not heard this CD. I ordered it and found out that Bill Heid the "Organist" is playing the "Piano" on this album. Since I love jazz organ, I decided not to buy it and sent it back unheard. I've been told that Johnnie Bassett plays a mean blues guitar.
Great Stuff From Johnnie:
I must say that the last review is hilarious. He admits never hearing it, but gives it three stars anyway. Too funny. I also like jazz organ, Shirley Scott, Jack McDuff, Jimmy Smith, Richard Holmes etc. Don't worry, whoever the guy is on this CD is irrelevent. It's about Johnnie Bassett on this one. Get this or any of the Johnnie Bassett CD's as they are all great.
