Live, groovy and oh, so good.:
This is definitely one of my favorite collections from the Wayne Horvitz conspiracy. It's live, sure, and normally that might mean to me something bad about the sound quality or a loss of overall effect. In this case, live means rich, deep sound as hypnotic and enveloping warmth. For me, it ranks up there with Ankety Low Day by the Tone Dogs. Which is a considerable compliment, to be sure.
