Wrong cover: ...this is not the original BTO I but the 1984 comeback. Great guitar work by Randy on "City's Still Growin'." At this price, you'd be crazy not to pick this one up!
The 1984 BTO reunion.: C.F. Turner shines on with songs such as "City's Still Growin'" while Randy Bachman felt short on fresh ideas. Great album but there is still something missing.
Only One BTO Quality song.....: The only reason this cd gets 2 stars instead of one is due to the fact Fred Turner sings on this album and it features one BTO quality song- "Just Look at me now". Randy Bachman was already washed up by this time and BTO's best guitar player Blair Thornton is not on this. I am a better guitar player than Tim Bachman. Also without Rob Bachman on this album it can not be a real BTO album.
A decent comeback, but certainly no classic: Songs like My Sugaree and City's Still Growin' show the band was capable of rocking on this comeback (from '84). But in total, the effort is uneven. Too many forgettable tunes with unremarkable melodies. It didn't help having a mediocre talent like Tim Bachman back in the fold. He was no great guitar player.
A Great Return. Randy Bachman Doing What He Does Best.: Takes you back to the good times of 1973-75. "Another Fool" is classic BTO. Buy it for that track alone !
