From Amazon.com: While many soundtracks offer two takes on a hit single, how many offer alternate cuts on three different songs? Warner Bros.' The Quest for Camelot does, with mixed results. "Looking Through Your Eyes" is performed three times--once by LeAnn Rimes, once by the Corrs and Bryan White, and lastly as a tedious all-instrumental version by David Foster. Compared to her standard fare, Celine Dion's "The Prayer" sounds reserved; there's no over-the-top melisma and her voice sounds almost subdued. Andrea Bocelli's take on the same tune is slightly different, with a slightly more pronounced string section kicking in. Journey frontman Steve Perry delivers one of the more convincing performances with his version of "I Stand Alone" (also covered by Bryan White) and "United We Stand." Gary Oldman's "Ruber" is sinister, while Don Rickles's Cornwall is funny (and a nice change-of-pace from all these megastars) on "If I Didn't Have You." --Jason Verlinde
please, open your ears: At least for the Camelot part, this is really ELEVATOR MUSIC!
Wonderful Irish Melodies!: The soundtrack was overall a hit with me because I love Irish music. If you're like me, buy this exhilerating cd now! There are some pretty dull tracks like the DRAGON ATTACK and the BATTLE but there really short. The Quest for Camelot soundtrack also has talking in it (IF I DIDNT HAVE YOU) and it is soooo funny! I love this soundtrack and it is one of the best out there, i don't care what other people say. It's AWESOME!
Quest for Camalot: The sound track for this movie is out standing and is very enjoyable. In fact I like this sound track with its great inspiranal music track. I listen to the music all the time and enjoy all of the fine artists on the track. This movie was vasly underated. And the thing that really made the movie was the track. The music was very uplifting and made you want to sing along.
Great Soundtrack!: For any child or adult that loved the movie, they will love the soundtrack. Enjoy!!
'I know the sound to each rock and stone and I embrace what others fear...': The songs from the film are listened to a great deal, 'I will Fly On My Fathers Wings' and 'United We Stand' and 'I Stand Alone' are probably the best tracks on here for me. My little sis, who has a copy says it's the best album in her collection and so I would recommend it, just from her perspective - however, I can't help but feel that something went wrong during the films evolution and what could have been a great score and film, does fall short - for me at least. 'I Stand Alone' is a wondrous fantastical anthem for the loner!
