The Funniest Man Alive:
John Pinette is the funniest man alive today. I wish he had a dozen CDs, I'd buy them all. Think of a non-gross Sam Kinison...that's John! And you can see him acting in the new "Punisher" film.
The Funniest Fat Guy in Comedy Today:
I hope he lasts a little longer than John Candy, Chris Farrel, John Belushie, etc. The man is extrememly funny and this CD is a great place to start, for those both familiar and unfimiliar with his act. Fat guy at Disneyworld is priceless. The buffet bits are equally good. Whether the setting is a Chinese restaurant, Indian, or Vegas, he hits the material with just the right timing and touch. Save Wiwwy!! BK
Sidesplitting Humor:
I was just recently introduced to the comedy of John Pinette by my boyfriend. I only own 1 cd so far, "SHOW ME THE BUFFET", but I listen to it over and over again, and laugh just as hard each time I hear it! I find his format to be so animated when he speaks. I'd love to find more of his material! He's my #1 favorite comedian now.
Show Me The Buffet!:
Great stuff. His self depricating humor based on his weight is absolutely hysterical. At this point I'm suprised that my CD has any grooves left in it, because I listen to it beginning to end all the time. It never gets old, because his brand of humor is timeless. The material is very intelligent and well thought out, and again, will always be relevant. This CD is worth every penny if you like great comedy. Truely a must buy for any comedy collection.

Hilarious self-deprecating obsessions about food & obesity will leave you in tears. Every bit from the Grand Floridian buffet, to the water slide fiasco, to why John won't eat seaweed... you can listen to it over and over and it's STILL funny; in fact, I always find little moments I'd missed before because I was laughing so hard. Best of all, it's fresh, original material, and he doesn't need to lean on sex & bathrooom jokes like so many other lame jokesters... Don't download it - BUY it! Can't let the best comedian in years go starving, now can we? ;-)
