Festive 3.5 Stars:
You can't give half stars with these ratings but I would like to here. I consider 3 stars to be average and 4 stars to be excellent. These recordings are above average but not quite 4 stars. I like the recordings, very festive and big sounding. My wife finds it a bit over the top which is possibly a fair comment. Ultimately it depends on what your preference is, I don't mind a little push over the top at times with the Roman trilogy, not the best Respighi I have ever heard but pretty good.
