[.ca] Make A Pest A Pet

todd kerns, sigh:
this album really takes me back to the old days. todd kerns has the ultimate rock n roll voice. the guitar riffs are catchy, and the songs just overall great. my only complaint is the production is too "perfect".

great album:
This is just one of those albums that a tried and true rock fan should have. No doubts. To the person who wrote that they started out as a Platinum Blonde cover band, you're completely wrong. They used to do covers along with their own music but they were never a Platinum Blonde cover band. NEVER!

Not the only CD they have...:
It is a shame that The Age Of Electric is no longer together (it must be at least 6 years since they broke up...) however, for you US fans out there, this was not their only album! In 1993-1994, they released a self-titled album probably only in Canada. It is by far... by FAR a much better album than this one. So if you have a chance to pick it up (I've seen it in used record stores for very cheap up here), I strongly recommend it. Their first single 'Untitled' to this day is still one of my favorite tracks. Also, the two members of The Age of Electric who were brothers started a side project called Limblifter. They only made one album, but it is great. Side note, this album Make a Pest a Pet is good, but a little too refined and radio-ready. Regardless, its found a good home in my CD collection.

Never Forget!:
Okay, it's been awhile since this CD came out, but it's ALWAYS been in rotation since I bought it. If you are Canadian, you can't help but feel proud to have been born in the same country that produced a band like this. It has nothing to do with where they came from, but you just feel compelled to find a way to connect yourself to their music. The CD is sooooo unique. It's pop, it's rock, it's alternative, it's AMAZING!!!! -Started out as a Platinum Blonde cover band and Todd still kinda sings with that weirdo fake british accent coming through every now and then. It only makes the songs sound better!!! LOVE THIS ALBUM!!! An album like this should never be forgotten...

Never Forget - Todd Kerns is back:
For those of you who like age of electric, you may not be aware that Todd Kerns, the lead from age of electric is back. His new album is titled Go Time! his solo release, it kicks ass, check it out!
