Terrific soundtrack:
Sissy Spacek sang in the movie and on the soundtrack--terrific job! Beverly D'Angelo did the singing for Patsy Cline,,, who knew she had it in her??? Terrific soundtrack is you liked the music from the movie!

EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT FIVE STARS * * * * *:
I LOVE this cd soundtrack. I also LOVE the movie and can't watch it enough. I love Sissy Spacek in it, and Tommy Lee Jones, and thought Sissy was extremely talented, not only with acting, but vocally on this. I bought Loretta Lynn's CD but I like this one better, no offense to those Loretta Lynn Fans, but this cd with Sissy singing just makes me feel like singing to it, and it puts me in a great mood. Excellent cd soundtrack, excellent movie, a must have, both cd and movie.

AWESOME SOUNDTRACK!:
The movie was awesome and the soundtrack was even better! A great cd to add to your collection! I remember listening to the soundtrack OVER AND OVER, on my moms 8-TRACK! for the soundtrack to have such an influence on a 6 year old! now that's good music! Sissy and Beverly have the voices of angels! No one could have done Loretta and Patsy justice but them! BUY THIS SOUNDTRACK!

One Of The Best Soundtracks Ever Made!!!!:
The Coal Miner's Daughter soundtrack is one of the best movie soundtracks ever made!! I loved the movie starring Sissy Spacek as Loretta Lynn and I thought Sissy did a fantastic job portraying Loretta and did a great job singing, also Beverly D'Angelo did a great job portraying Patsy Cline and wow did she do a great job singing! All the songs are great but my favorite is Blue Moon Of Kentucky sung by Levon Helm a song also sung by Leann Rimes a singer I like but her recording just doesn't have the same appeal to my ears as this one by Levon Helm! Other great songs on this soundtrack are Honky Tonk Girl, There He Goes, Crazy, and of course Coal Miner's Daughter, plus many more songs. (Too many to mention!) I highly recommend this soundtrack, which I can listen to over and over again and never get tired of it!

Coal Miner's Daughter:
It is an excellent compillation of country music. Besides it reminds me of my Sr. Highschool times. Great music!
