From Amazon.co.uk: S Club 7, a seven-piece collective of teenage boys and girls--Tina, Paul, Hannah, Jon, Bradley, Jo and Rachel--were pre-destined for the dizzy heights of pop stardom with their own personalised PR machine (a show on terrestrial television) and the shrewd management of former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller. Testimony to this, the band's debut single, the infectiously singalong "Bring It All Back" went straight into the charts at Number One, with the second single "S Club Party" following in hot pursuit. S Club follows a tried and tested pop album formula and features a couple of hum-along cod-Motown numbers ("You're My Number One" and "Everybody Wants Ya"), two bouncy salsa-driven latino songs ("Viva La Fiesta" and "It's A Feel Good Thing"), a caring-sharing social conscience anthem ("Gonna Change the World") and obligatory sloppy love songs "I Really Miss You" and "Two In A Million". Although it's a mediocre offering, it could well end up being a grower. --Ronita Dutta
Utterly pop-tastic: Maybe it's just me, but I thought this album was far better than '7.' This one is just more upbeat, and I love it.
S-club is awesome!: S-Club 7 is great! s-club includes Tina,Paul,Jo,Jon,Rachel,Bradley, and Hannah. On a scale of 0-5.0, this is how I say the songs are. Bring it all back- 5.0-Great positive attutude. It keeps your head high while still being able to groove along with it. Your my number one-4.5- Really nice tune. Great to sing with. Two in a million-4.7-Really good slow song. This is a great song to put on repeat! S-Club Party-5.0-My favorite song on the album. You can party, dance, and sing with it all at once!! Everyboda wants ya-4.3-It has an amazingly catchy tune, but it could be a tiny bit better. Viva la fiesta-3.8- Very Mexican. If you like salsa this is for you! Gonna change the world-4.6-Nice and slow.Boys are on the lead for a change.Very soothing I believe. I really miss you-5.0-Excellant slow song.Really catchy, nice tune, good words.Awesome! Friday night-3.9-I think this song is ok. It's not really my kind of groove. It's a feel good thing-4.3-Also very Mexican. It has a little more S-club flavor though. Hope for the future-4.1- Nice for the last song. One of those in-between beaters. Also, the cover of the cd has pictures of every S-club 7 member, words to every song, and credits.
S Club!!: This is a very good cd, it has only 11 songs though, but they are all great. All of the songs were performed or played on Miami 7!! It is a very dancey album but there are also some slow songs like Two In A Million. This is also the first S Club album!!
AWESOME: This is hardcore punk rock. The song that goes "there aint no party like an S Club party" just speaks to me. Try out their heavy speed metal friends, Milli Vinilli.
A great debut from the S Clubbers!: I'm crazy, I know! I own all 3 S Club 7 Cds, and I'm not afraid to admit it! I love S Club 7!!!! I'm a big fan (especially of Jo, she's so talented!), and this is a great debut for the fantastic seven (six, now since Paul left the group). Some of the songs on this CD are quite cheesey, but most are fun, party songs that you can sing along to. Stand out tracks are: 1. Bring It All Back - The S Clubbers' debut single. It has a positive message behind it, and all the girls sound great on this track. The chorus will stick in your head. 3. Two in a Million - A gorgeous ballad with Jo on lead vocals. Her vocals flow over cool music, and her backings at the end sound brilliant. 4. S Club Party - Their trademark song, talking about themselves. It's a classic party song, with great vocals from Jo and Bradley, especially at the end. 8. I Really Miss You - Another beautiful ballad, this time with lead vocals from Rachel. I love her voice on this track, the music is cool and I love the girls in the background, too. 10. It's a Feel Good Thing - My favourite. It's such a dancy song, with great vocals (once again) from Jo. I love the music and the catchy chorus. 11. Hope for the Future - A great end to the album. I love the whole song, a midtempo number. My favourite album out of all of the S Club albums, is their third "Sunshine". This album is a very young S Club 7, and some of their songs are cheesey. But they do have talent, if the people who gave them 1 star ratings actually listened to the CD, they'd know!
