What a showcase........:
Of great musicianship, songwriting and getting a bunch of high end guitarist on the same CD.You'll meet such great guitarists as Steve Vai,Frank Gambale,Steve Stevens,Joe Satriani and Robben Ford (Plus more). This CD contains 12 songs,12 different guitarists,12 songs that'll take you for a bit of a ride through different styles. This CD contains one of those songs that's gonna have to be a hit,"Train to Willoughby",I heard it a couple of times and now it's stuck in my head. You might ask yourself,Where do I know this guy from,I know him as the Phenomenal drummer on the David Lee Roth album "Eat 'em and smile".All songs on this album was written by Greggs Brother Matt, who rips it up witk his bassplaying, what a great job.So if your in for a ride, get the album.

Great Guitar Album with Excellent Compositions:
I came upon this album almost randomly on the Rhapsody service because I was looking for records with Frank Gambale. I'm very glad I did! I believe most rock or fusion guitarists would find this album worth checking out. The tunes "Marbles" (Gambale), "Train to Willoughby" (Steve Stevens), "Noah's Ark" (Steve Vai), and "Sasquatch" (Michael Landau - check out his Hendrix sound) are all great compositions and make this album very worth the price. But make no mistake, there's not a weak tune on this album. There are also a couple pop tunes any Beatles lover would appreciate. Gregg Bissonette is a very crisp drummer - listen closely to "Marbles" for evidence. And his brother Matt on bass is also first-rate. I almost gave this album 5 stars, but I reserve that rating for the rarest of albums.

Good Variety:
This is similar to Gregg's other solo outing, only better. It has a little of everything: instrumental rock, fusion, Latin, vocal rock, and jazz. He is one of the best drummers out there, and this disc shows why.

A little bit for everyone:
Just bought it today, didn't really know what to expect. But with so many different guitarists on the list. I said what the ... Very happy I bought it, thought the latest from Bozzio, Stevens & Levine would stay in my CD player but this one will stay instead. Thought the song with Satriani and Vai would be great but is just ok nothing new or ground breaking.Really liked the Latin song No Hay Parqueo. This CD made me discover that the Bissonette brothers are very good musicians with good song writing skills. A good surprise.

A Drummer's Point of View:
I waited for this album to be released with great anticipation. I am a drummer of 30 years, and can say with confidence I know my way around a drumset. Having said that, Gregg Bissonette, never fails to blow me away with the way he handles music and the drums. His approach is always creative and musical. This album has tracks ranging from hi-energy rock, to funk, to traditional jazz, to fusion, to latin. What doesnt it have -- I guess a big name behind it. It is unfortunate when I see some of the music that is being sold to the public, which has little musical significance except that the singers are young boys or sexy young girls (if that is significant). This disk flys in the face of the pop genre and gets down to some pretty serious stuff, there is no fluff here. The sheer range of styles combined with the talent of both Gregg and his brother Matt along with the incredible array of guitarists, leaves me feeling a little disapointed that this album will likely get little air time if any on the radio. I personally enjoyed the vocal tracks and would suggest that Gregg is a great singer. The first track of the album is amazing, the groove will blow you away, just sits there in a funk feel and makes it impossible not to tap your feet. Later on, on the disk you will hear music that will take you back to the 60s British invasion. Bottom line, if you want a CD that is filled with great musicianship, originality and covers a broad spectrum of music styles then you should check it out. I highly recommend this disk to anyone. Cheers.
