i agree with Brent ! Where IS the music of Joe versus the Volcano !??? and (the org.) from True Confessions ??? and for that matter the score of 'the Black Stallion returns ?????? everything bured with Georges ??? i heard his widow stops all this ! (true??) Besides Steel Magnolias i think Joe Versus.. is/are his Best scores ! for all romatic (melancholic) music lovers Georges and names titles are a MUST ! (happily i found a various movie themes record that contained Joe versus.... at least most of it !! but elas fom tue confessions only replayed (and so less !)

I Just Wanna Say One Thing!:
Okay I Heard The CD and Thought It Was Wonderful and I will Defiantly Buy it, but I just want to say One Thing! Where is the music for Joe Versus The Volcano? I mean they put the music for Something Whicked This Way Comes on there and he didn't even do the score for the movie! Yes, I know his score was rejected for that movie, but they have that and they don't have the music for Joe Versus the Volcano? I don't know, I guess I'm just upset cause they never released a soundtrack for Joe Versus the Volcano and heard there was a Georges Delerue cd compilation coming out and I was hoping above all films that would be on it, you know so I could at least have that music on cd! I just love the music for that movie and it's the first movie that introduced me to the Late Georges Delerue's wonderful film composing talent! Oh well, here's hoping for a Volume 2!

Excellent!:
A great composer who left a legacy of great music. I would highly recommend this 2-CD set. You can purchase the "Joe Versus the Volcano" CD at intrada.com. There are only 3,000 of these CDs in print so buy it quickly.

Delerue:
Great compilation of missed French composer. Great price for a two disc set. The sad thing is not that it's missing any music from Joe versus the volcano, but that his work from The Black Stallion Returns can't find a home on any cd not to mention COMPILATION. The highlight for me on this two disc set is the music from Her Alibi. This two disc is all beautiful, all french and all worth it!

Black Robe:
I bought this CD solely for the piece from the film Black Robe which is hauntingly beautiful music. For some reason it reminds me of Ennio Morricone's music from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, although it is slower. Delerue composed music to a number of great movies.
