Eclecticism excessive:
Maria Antonako has a lovely singing voice, and when she sings, this is a wonderful CD. The recording is less successful, in my opinion, when it departs from song. Listen, for example, to track 3: "Byzance Liturgy For The 21st Century." On either likes this sort of eclecticism, or one does not, but do not be deceived by the wonderful tracks 1 and 2 into thinking this CD is wholly musical. Actually, the linear CD, in this case, cries out for the cutting and pasting one might do by digital mixing. Extract the socially relevant talk radio; leave the music.
