When I first became a Christian about 18 years ago, I remember engaging in a conversation with a Jewish elder about the individual's view on the Biblical story of the Red Sea (or, as some would argue, "Sea of Reed") crossing. The individual informed me that that person felt that the parting of the water was a natural yearly occurence--high and low tide phenomenon--and that the real miracle was in God's ability to deliver that many people from the Egyptians. Years later, all I have heard in my lifetime from scholars are ignorant remarks about how many of the Biblical stories in the Old Testament are myths. There are scholars who adamantly refuse to believe that Abraham was a real person. Eighteen years later, it has been revealed to me that they have been wrong all these years, in particular, about the Red Sea crossing, which is on the other side of the peninsula. And because of the location, we know it has nothing to do with high and low tides. Artifacts of chariots and skeletal remains have now been found under sea. The curtain is slowly being lifted as God reveals His Truth. I used this as a witnessing tool for my brother...For $20 per VHS tape, it is well worth my brother's salvation.
