Call it We Aren't Family. Blink-182's studio followup to the zillion-selling Enema of the State is as angst-ridden about parental-related bad vibes as anything by Everclear. As the album's Who-like anthem "Stay Together for the Kids" has it: "We get along, so why can't they?" Other songs depict the effects of broken and near-broken homes on the 20-somethings this pop-punk trio's members have become. The opening lines of "First Date" sound very familiar nervous notes ("Do you like my stupid hair?") before the song shades over into a deeper self-loathing ("I'm not worthy for a minute of your time"). Pants and Jacket, of course, rarely slows down at even its most torn moments: this is the fast and loud pop-punk Blink's fans have made the hardest music many of them listen to. And these guys haven't outgrown the urge to toss a raspberry into the face of authority figures, including the dads, moms and grandpas who are the butt of jokes in the likes of "Happy Holidays, You Bastards." not as good as enema of the state but still good:
this cd is good, solid blink. although i don't like it as much as i liked enema of the state, this is still one of my favorite cd's that i own. here are the songs: Anthem part 2: 7/10- this song gets kinda boring after a while. Catchy tune though. Online Songs: 8/10- Also eventually boring, but it has a good chorus First Date: 7/10- I guess the only reason i like this song is because it reminds me of the blink concert i went to once upon a time. Happy Holidays you Bastard: 5/10- Really short and pointless, but its pretty funny. The Rock Show: 9/10- i like this song. Its really catchy and has a good beat. By the way, Travis is the most insane drummer in the world. Story of a Lonely Guy: 9/10- at first i didnt like this song at all, but it grew on me and now its one of my favorites. Stay Together for the Kids: 10/10- i love this song. Its my favorite on the album, very sad. Its this album's Adam's Song. Roller Coaster: 9/10-Another really catchy, good song. the drumming and the chorus are both really good. Reckless Abandon: 10/10 Another one of my favorites. its a good summer song, and i could listen to it all day. Everytime I look for You: 6/10- I dont really like this song. Never have liked it, never will Give me one good Reason: 10/10- a classic punk anthem type song. Shut Up: 10/10- Another good song. this one is about a failing relationship. Please take me home: 9/10- Although the lyrics are kind of stupid, its still a catchy, fun song.

This album is solid from start to finish.Blink really created a really great album with this Track reviews Anthem part 2-3 stars Kinda boring .I like Part 1 better Online songs-5 stars one of my favrioutes really catchy first date-3 stars-Kinda boring gets annoying happy hoildays 3 stars-Too short really pointless story of a lonley guy-4 stars Great song lyrics are kind of relatable to anyone.I really like marks vocals.even if all he says is dadadada The rock show-4 stars kinda of old know but this song is still good stay together for the kids-4 stars strong song I really like this roller coaster-5 stars- my fave track great from start to finish this song really is a roller coaster wreckless abandon-4 stars-kind of immature evrytime I look for you-4 stars first heard it from american pie 2 a good solid track with great vocals give me one good reason 3 stars-never really liked this song shut up -5 stars-I love this track it is really catchy please take me home-I love this song second fav realy good So all In all this Album is great but im not sure how it rates too there other ones

Good follow up from Enima.:
This is Blinks second Pop/rock/punk cd and their 5th actual cd ( not including Flyswatter demo ). What I eman by that is their odler stuff is more Punk, and when Enima of the State came out, their music started to change a little from punk to a pop-rock punk. This cd had such great songs as Happy Holidays You Bastard, Give Me One Good Reason, and Story of a Lonely Guy. The whole cd is great but thoes are just some of my favorites. This is a great cd and I recommend it to all blink fans.
