This movie is hilarious!: My favorite comedy part was when the parents were all shrunk and Gordon called Wayne's wife Thumbelina. Also, it was funny when Wayne shrunk the Tiki Man, himself, his brother, and their wives, his wife notices the Tiki Man and says, "You thought you could outsmart me and shrink the Tiki Man so I wouldn't notice, well guess what.." and then she shouts at the top of her lungs, "I noticed!!!!!" That was funny. The cockroach and daddy longlegs were cool-looking, 'cept daddy longlegs' creep me out (heheh). I would recommend this movie to any Disney fan because it is really funny. I also liked the part when Wanye was admiring the "detail of this big roach turd". This movie made me laugh, and you will, too!
Honey,They Shrunk The Movie!: Yes they did! This movie is lightweight compared to the other 2 as it was only about an hour and a half long. This was surprising.I feel it was made in a big hurry. However,it is still some enjoyable entertainment. It deserves no awards though.Nothing with so little thought does.
A great old classic movie!: I had to get this movie oh man it has always been so great! The person I liked the most was Allison Mack's character Jenny. But everyone else did a good job in this film. Rick Moranis and the rest are just as great too! I highly recommend anyone to rent or buy this movie. It's great when you need scientific humor. I give it four stars completely! Watch it and you will enjoy it, I guarantee it!
A Discrace to all Disney movies: "Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves" is stupid to all movies, including the scene where the Szalinski Brothers (Pankin/Moranis) were showing their stomachs. I give this 1 star.
3rd (and final) in the series: Contrary to popular belief, this is not a new movie. Not at all. This is actually Disney's very first direct-to-video live action films, which was first released in 1997. It did not go over well and has long since been the hardest to find of the trio. Unlike the other two theatrical films, this movie was only ever released in full frame... so us widescreen enthusiasts have nothing to complain about here. What I can complain about is the overall cheap-feeling that this film has. Rick Moranis is the only original character, and the action does not have the epic, theatrical quality of the original films. This feels like a 2-day shoot soundstage production with a very closed-in feeling. It's kind of like taking the first five minutes of "Toy Story," with the army men on the staircase, etc. and extending that claustrophobic feeling for the 65-minute running time. All in all, this most compares to a typical Disney Channel Original Movie. In fact, it's been shown as one ever since its release!! Not exactly a Disney highpoint, collectors will want this third film to complete the collection...
