My favorite David album: Of all my catalog of CDs and tapes, none resonates with me emotionally more than "Far End of Summer". There are some songs on this album that will grab you by the heartstrings and never let go. David's voice is strong yet gentle, his lyrics simple yet so deep and emotional. My friend Cat sums it up perfectly: "David Francey is Everyman." Highly recommended.
A gem: David Francey is simply the best Canadian singer-songer writer to come along since Stan Rogers. Far End of Summer, the album which won him his first Juno (he has two so far), is a must-have for anyone who enjoys folk/roots music. Never over produced, always heartfelt and honest, this album features songs -and singing- that you will never forget. A gem.
