Recycled stuff that's not up to par...: I have been a Sailor Moon fan for 7+ years now and the first way I watched it was in English, so I grew a little attatched to some of the English songs. The first soundtrack that came out was excellent, as well as the second, Lunarock. However, this one, (which I bought only for the instrumental tracks) is highly recycled from those other two cd's. They've attempted to remix all the tracks but the end result is simply classic songs butchered up. I was quite embarassed just to play them. Even the instrumentals on this cd are disappointing. They're far too short. If you like Sailor Moon, I'd definately invest in the Japanese music, as it's the original stuff and is far more classy and beautiful. These English tracks are ok if you like the dubbed version only, or if you're really young. True fans: stick to the Japanese. Enough said.
A huge disappointment! =(: I'm extremely disappointed with this CD. Sailor Moon is my all time favorite show and was my gateway to the world of anime. I was heartbroken when they ended the series on Cartoon Network w/o showing the entire series. Also, I dislike the American DVDs as the new voice of Serena etc, is terrible. Luckily, they have the uncut Japanese w/ subtitles box sets out which have all the episodes. Problem is... I hate reading subtitles, something I quickly overcame. But the second even bigger problem is the music! I don't like the background music from the Japanese version. The American background music was much nicer and is something that touches my heart. This new Sailor Moon CD I thought would be awesome for the remixies alone. I love the american theme song and have been wanting a remix for the longest time. And the remix on the CD is good, could be better, but is good. The other remixes are terrible. There litteraly exact copies of the songs from the previous Sailor Moon CD with just a different beat. Usually a remix mixes up the overall tune and sound through manipuliting the voice and sometimes re-cutting the lyrics. Not these remixes. So disappointed there. The even grater disappointment is the instrumental cuts. Usually instrumental cuts on an album are 2-5 minutes long as where on the show there only 30 seconds. Not with this CD. The instrumental songs are just as long as they are on the show, a few seconds. Not even worth listening to. And now here is the worse part... Not all the instrumental songs are included. The one Sailor Moon tune that always comes to my mind when I'm sad or lonely is the "sad tune" from Sailor Moon. I don't know what it is titled but you hear it through out the American version. I always picture "Renii" (Or how do you spell her name?) when she was telling her story of how her parents didn't help her up when she fall and she is on the ground crying. That was not on this CD nor many other instrumentals that I clearly remember, which is what I was looking forward to. This CD is a huge disappointment. Only worth buying to be apart of your Sailor Moon Collection, if you got one. I do! Every American CD with many Japanese!
The best Sailor Moon CD ever: This is the best Sailor Moon CD. Every Sailor Moon fan should get it! Some of the songs have the best re-mixes and makes them better like the Sailor Moon Theme, it is the best.
The best Sailor Moon CD ever: This is the best Sailor Moon CD. Every Sailor Moon fan should get it! Some of the songs have the best re-mixes and makes them better like the Sailor Moon Theme, it is the best. The Sailor Moon theme remix is really better than the one on tv. It also has some music that they use to make the moment better like background music.
A Cool C.D. To Own: This is a cool C.D. to have. Numbers 2 to 6 and 20 you just want to dance and sing with it. There is a new song on this C.D. It is called,"I'm not ready". You have to get this C.D. to hear the song. I own this C.D. and take it on trips with me. I have hear this C.D. and I enjoy this C.D. that I own the some C.D. if the one I have stops working. I thing that the songs should be first and the music should be at the end of the C.D. I say "that is is a cool C.D. to own and to hear. I like all of the songs and the musics but not the called,"Queen Beryl" I do not care for the one called,"Queen Beryl." I have hear Queen Beryl and do not like it. If you are a huge fan of Sailor Moon you should get this C.D. I have two other Sailor Moon C.D. Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Lunarock. I am a huge fan of Sailor Moon. I recommended all Sailor Moon C.D. that I can understand.
