Tsk, tsk:
Man, will this people ever learn to listen to a band's music prior to buying an album? Hey, Jake, what did you expect? Vocal harmonies? Acoustic orchestrated solos with some chick doing some AHHHs? Get the hell out of here. You don't belong to this cathegory of music listeners. So why bother listening to Death Metal (or any good metal) for hell's sake? Or writing a review about a band which plays something you know you won't like in the first place. I can only guess you have no friends. Real ones. About the EP: I haven't bought it yet. Planning to do it soon though. But I have heard the first two songs'll tell you that you should buy this EP just for them. They are awesome and both alone are better than any Slipknot full release. You won't be disappointed. I know I won't.

This sucks so hard:
People, this is not music. The lead singer just grunts into the microphone, I don't think he can even scream words correctly. I can't make out what the hell he says, or better yet, when one song ends and the other begins. The other con, this band only sings about having sex with dead bodies, if you enjoy this stuff, yeah its great, if you like REAL metal, check out some other bands like slipknots new album Subliminal Verses Vol.3

Jake is special:
You have to be a complete moron to even compare Slipcock to Cannibal Corpse. Cannibal Corpse is faster, heavier, and more technical than anything slipknot can ever and has ever done. And you even suggested the new Slipknot album!! That's a riot! Go listen to some emo and stare at your shoes while you cry if you're going to listen to that. This is the most violent and the heaviest band in existence. Their cover of "No remorse" is better than Country-tallica's version, how sad is that? In fact every cover song on here is better than the original because the Corpse is that good. I suggest this sample EP if you're just getting into them, or check out VILE.

Food for Thought:
This album band is mediocre at best. While I highly respect their talent and status in the death metal scene. I can't find the logic in considering them the best band around. Slipknot are very talented musicians, whether you want to admit it or not. They could play any Cannibal Corpse song, although I don't think I can say the same of Cannibal playing Slipknot. And, Don't think for one second think that I am defending Slipknot or downing Cannibal. If you want to hear a more technical group of death metal I suggest. Black Dahlia Murder, Death, Decapitated, Dying Fetus, or Skinless, just to name a few.
