SUPER: This is just beautiful. Fun and Sweet. You won't be bored with the slections on this CD. He has a truly amazing voice. This guy should come to America. He is more "Country" than MOST OF THOSE THAT "CALL" THEMSELVES "COUNTRY" artists. I'm from the Midwest. I am well versed in "country". This is more like it. Buy this CD, you WON'T be dissapointed.
wonderful: I have the DVD and simply love watching and listenng to it...I can't seem to get enough of Daniel's music and performances..I also have the CD of "Greatest Hits" which is great and "Faith and Inspiration"...I only wish I had heard of Daniel sooner.. I enjoy his dance movements and the respectability in his concerts....as you can see, I am an avid fan..
Wonderful CD: I usually shy away from albums recorded live because the sound quality is compromised. This one is an exception. Daniels voice is perfect and his personality really comes through. Great\i

I'm Sorry... but,: I AM SO sorry but... Ireland and the Irish have given the world some incredibly great music - Daniel O'Donnell's "music" is NOT part of that tradition. The (ahem) "performances" on this O'Donnell CD are so clueless and so without talent as to be an insult to Irish people everywhere. (And hey, I'm Irish, I'm offended.) O'Donnell couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and his phrasing and sense of timing are juvenile at best. Who told this guy he could sing ? How cruel! The only possible excuse for a recording like this is IF it is filed in the "humor" section with Monty Python. This HAS to be satire! For some real Irish MUSIC, here are some recommendations: Mick McAuley: "An Ocean's Breadth" The Bothy Band: "Old Hag You Have Killed me" or "Best of The Bothy Band" Altan: ....(any CD they've released) Martin Hayes: "Under the Moon" Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill: "Live" And - if it's NOT Irish music you want, if it's a "crooner" you're a'looking for - as Mister O'Donnell must fancy himself a crooner from the selections he presents - here are some recommendations for authentic crooners as well: Frank Sinatra (anything) Tony Bennett (anything) try "Tony Bennett & Bill Evans" Lou Rawls "Lou Rawls Sings Sinatra" (stellar) Now Daniel... you stop that catterwallin' and get yourself a "real" job. Ya hear? Gracious boy, you'll wake the dead!
