[.ca] Cargo (Expanded Ed) (W/5 Bonus

Cargo Works!:
Of the 3 Men at Work albums Cargo still stands as my favorite. Australlian rock rules. Colin Hay is a quirky genious. Its to bad this band was only around for 3 years and released only three albums.

Another Fine Job Remastering By Columbia!:
Columbia did everything right on this one! Now if they could only do "Two Hearts" but i really can't complain... The best two Men At Work albums have been remastered and a fine job done on both! Thanks again Columbia! You rock! Cheers.

Another Fine Job Remastering By Columbia!:
Columbia did everything right on this one! Excellent remastered sound. Five audio bonus tracks. Lyrics included. Rare photos of the band. Original artwork and the original bathroom photo. All ten original album tracks are either great or awesome. The bonus tracks are so so. Buy it now while it's still in print! Cheers!

A satisfying sequel.:
"Cargo" came rapidly on the heels of "Business As Usual", due to, among other things, the amazing staying power and deserved popularity of that first album. As a complete piece, "Cargo" really can't compare, but it completely avoids the dreaded "sophomore slump" afflicting most new bands. "Overkill" still stands a great single from the '80's, and there are a number of other equally engaging tracks on the disc, "No Restrictions", "High Wire", "It's A Mistake". But to be fair, there are other songs that are just a bit boring...made more so if you listen to their first two albums back to back. Here's the thing: you'll NEED this record if you buy the first one. They're sort of two pieces of a better whole. And there's enough here to make your purchase worthy. One last thing - I loved Colin Hay's voice. It was one of the better ones on the radio at the time...and you always knew immediately who it was...

A Excellent Follow-Up From The Men Down Under!:
"Cargo" is not alot different then Men At Work's classic "Buisness As Usual" and still offers up some classic,sax-fueled pop ditties such as "Dr.Hekyll & Mr.Jive","Overkill","It's A Mistake" and the dance-worthy "High Wire"-actually this album is CRAMMED FULL of classic pop so no point mentioning anymore highlites-the "Cargo" album itself is a highlited treat and a perfect example of well-made 1980's pop/rock.
