[.ca] Amerikkkas Most Wanted

the schism:
now this was a debut! so many dissapoint when so highly anticipated and we found out a lot about who was what in nwa and how that ruthless thing went down and this was the nuclear fallout behind the whole schism that changed the game up to that point.

best gangsta lp ever:
with all the boring rap now days, hip hop actually may have seen its better days. cube is so angry in this lp it's just a cult classic album for the history of the genre. smart lyrics, political subversive, a must have for true rap heads. if you love 50cents... man please, THIS is what gansta rap is all about. I refuse to recorgnize this music coming out today as rap. amerikkkas was recorded on no budget, hungry rapper-producers ready to take over the world... and they did. cube, ren, and prob. dre are never coming back, mobb deep and the whole east are also dead, it's all over. just sit back and enjoy the good old days.

Ice Cube at his BEST:
Man, did Ice Cube REALLY drop a bomb on the hip hop nation with this debut album. After leaving N.W.A., Cube went solo and nothing would ever be the same again. Not many artists can come HARD like he did on their first albums. Ice Cube came harder than anyone else at the time in 1990, and he did it with ease and gusto. One of my personal favorite albums, this album defines what Ice Cube is all about. Here's the review: Album Highlights: The ENTIRE album. Production: Thumbs up, one of the first true times that the east and the west hooked up, and the results were AWESOME Lyrics and Subject Matter: Thumbs up, like i said, NO ONE was spitting this hard in 1990, ask N.W.A., as they became nonexistant in hip hop after Cube left Originality: Thumbs up The Last Word: AWESOME album. One of the greatest albums EVER, Ice Cube represented here, and it shows. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this album, and as an added bonus, you get the AWESOME Kill At Will EP in its remastered form. Buy this album NOW if you don't own it.

Cube's Intro Into the Solo World of Rap!:
Ice Cube's first solo album after leaving the infamous NWA turned him into a hip hop icon. The "Nigga you Love To Hate," was the title behind his dark but very truthful statements of what still goes on today in America today. The whole CD is a classic with songs like Endangered Species, A Gangsta's Fairytale, The Bomb, Who's The Mack, and my favorite Turn Off The Radio. The streets of LA would never be the same again as Ice Cube and his new crew "The Lench Mob," would become the most notorious and most controversial rapper on the scene at that time. The Source gave this CD 5mics simply because it was pure rap and Ice Cube's first masterpiece!

Best Of Ice Cube:
