Allrite guys I'm basically a punjabi guy whos crazy abt hiphop n bhangra...and heres a lil more about bhangra music....my fav tracks....(on special request by bhangraddict ;) ) 1. captain bhangre da by Daljit Mattu (Fojee Mix)...AWESOMEEEEEEE track...my fav rite now 2. turn me on remix by DJ MMS (really really cool beats) 3. Balle Balle by RDB (hey...RDB comes out with good stuff from time to time) 4. check out songs by Amar Arshi...hes a good singer 5. Jind Mahi Dhol Mix in Panjabi MC's album 6. Jawani - B21 (nice track..man i like all B21 songs) 7. Gwandian da dhol - Dr. Zeus 8. Hai hai (desi mix) - DJ MMS check out DJ MMS and RDB-DJs homepages... I could go on n on man...but hope this helps....

great album- but missing key tracks:
I loved this movie, and I love the soundtrack. But unfortunately I have to agree with others that's it's definitely the worse for the tracks that are missing. I was very disappointed to hear Victoria Beckham's song included to the exclusion of Curtis Mayfield's amazing "Move On Up" and the song from the club scene, "I Turn To You". It's a great soundtrack, but realize that you might not be getting everything you thought you were.

Music Rocks! wanna know more about bhangra?:
The music in bend it like beckham is really awesome...since most of the other reviewers have written a lot about it, ill write more about where you can get similar punjabi stuff...I'm sure u can manage the english ;) B21 came out with some fantastics albums..check out "By Public Demand". Malkit Singh is the king of the original punjabi folk music and his "greatest hits" compilation really takes the cake. Its a sorta reggae-punjabi mix and has Jind Mahi too. Bina mistry has another good song called "dhola". And of course check out the "American Desi" soundtrack if u guys liked this soundtrack...the eternal mundeyan toh bachke rahin (beware of the boys) is there by punjabi mc...hope this helps!:D

Mad About missing songs?:
For those of you who were upset about several missing songs on the soundtrack, you might want to look into the imported Indian version of the CD. It has 21 songs on it, including the Curtis Mayfield track that everyone wants. It also has dialogue tracks form the movie.

Bhangra Addict!!!:
I LOVE this CD. I have listened to Gunjan's "Noorie" at least a hundred times, and I still think her voice is like a breath of heaven... Main hindi kuch-kuch bol sakta hun, but even not knowing the words is refreshing. Noted on abhi_j's review all the quality songs the disk has to offer...main samajha! I noticed the "wanna know more about bhangra?" in the title, so to abhi: your page is gonna be on my favorites list for any interesting updates and recommendations. Peace out my fellow bhangra-ites! :P
