Oh,Media Blasters where is it?:
We (the Eurohorror fans) are already waiting more than a year for this release.Where is it?? I haven't seen the film yet,but according to many this is better than Don't Torture A Duckling. All we can do is wait I suppose :-( Only one star for the waiting...will be more when/if it arrives.... Cheers, "Crystal Plumage"
Grat Giallo by Fulci:
This is a great Giallo! The story is interesting and it is well directed. A must see for any gialli or Fulci fans!
Five stars for Fulci...one star for Shriek Show...:
Una Lucertola con la pelle di donna (Lizard in a Womans Skin) is a very good giallo with great atmosphere. Nice music by Ennio Morricone too! Shriek Show offers this movie in a 2 DVD set. The first DVD is the remastered widescreen version with english audio...but it is CUT!!! The second DVD presents the movie in a dull pan & scan format (fullscreen) with original italian audio (eng subtitles available) but UNCUT! Shriek Show...WHY? This means a lot of skin and blood and guts has been cut on the DVD with the best image quality! Even the famous "bleeding dogs" scene has been cut! Big disappointment...but still "Lizard" remains one of my favorite Fulci so far! EDIT: There now IS a better edition available !
