incredible jazzy house:
i must say i took a chance from this new label sunswept. i wasnt familar with anything they have released and it turns out this is there first cd. awesome track listing, great mixes, killer packaging. all around a great buy. the stlyes range from a brazilan feel to jazzy to funky house. the cd flows great. i'm looking forward to what this new label releases next.
Well mixed and a great house compilation:
When I saw this CD it was the cover art that caught my attention (everyone wants to be on a beach at sunset under the palm trees...). I flipped to the back to check out the DJ's, and the lineup of artists was intriguing and they had some big names back there. This is a great CD and ranks up there with my regulars now. It's a little bit more upbeat than the downtempo stuff out there, this CD has a mellow edge and more energy, a wholesome groove to it. The jazzy loops keep it going and are well timed. I give it four stars because I feel the vocals are a little lacking, they don't quite flow with the CD, but all around, this CD perfectly captures the jazzy house groove.
