The entertainer's carefully choreographed dance moves and smoldering good looks often overshadowed his singing in the past, but Sincero finds Chayanne spreading his wings and stretching his vocal abilities to good effect. The album blends tender love songs, acoustic instrumentation, earthy dance rhythms, salsa, ska-tinged rock and even a few bluesy touches into one surprisingly irresistible package. Freed from the constraints of by-the-numbers ballads and generic dance tracks, Chayanne sounds re-energized through much of the album, often echoing the no-frills sentiments of Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz. "Sentada Aqui en Mi Alma" and "Un Siglo Sin Ti" are subtly intoxicating moments; "Caprichosa" and "Santa Sofia" benefit from tight musical accompaniment and forceful chorus cries. Un disco con bastante vibra que te llena de ánimo:
Este disco es uno de los mejores de Chayanne, desde la canción Sentada aquí en mi alma, hasta Caprichosa (Spanglish) son geniales. Entre mis favoritas están Un siglo sin tí, como siempre Frando de Vita sorprende, Cuidarte el alma, y otra que es bien chévere es Vaiven,tiene ritmo, y es excelente. Este disco no puede faltar en ninguna casa. Es lo máximo.

First time I heard Shayanne was on Gran Canaria in Spain. I heard the song Vaiven on the radio and felt in love with that song! I buyed the album and it's one of the greatest album ever made IMO.

Sinceramente, soy una fanatica de Chayanne desde que esta en Los Chicos .... como puertorriquena, me siento muy orgullosa de El. En este disco esperaba, escuchar otras canciones ... mas bien otros ritmos, mas mezclas modernas. Pero, si de gusta Chayanne el de siempre, te ENCANTARA. Creo que puede dar mas .... el talento, la carisma, la simpatia, y las ganas ... le sobran. Eso, si la cancion UN SIGLO SIN TI, deja bien claro ver que ese tipo de cancion le sienta bien con su personalidad (la interpreta genial, con una dulzura que le sale del ALMA), OOOHHHH se me olvidaba ... CHICAS!!!! el artwork es una joya, sin duda tiene su mejor "LOOK" me encanta CHAYANNE "el look natural de este shooting" pues no hay que hacerle mucho para que se vea bien. HE LOOKS REALLY GOOD!!!!

A Sincere and Personal Cd for Chayanne:
Chayanne's one of the biggest latin stars ,even though he has not made a real crossover he is known worlwide as a latin balladeer and as the great dancer he is! this cd shows his favorite personal sounds,not so dance oriented but more romantic and a little more "rock " than previous cd's. I still think he needs a new production team when it comes to his rythm and dance songs and to release his dance singles in more and different versions to get the attention of both the romantic and the dance comunity!Please contact Junior Vazquez,John Jellybean Benitez,Full Intention,Thunderpuss,Motiv 8,or any of the hottest remixers and release a Dance Remixed Cd of your Faves and you'll see the results!!!!! His ballads as always are beautiful and he gets into your heart with his soultry ,romantic voice... Although this is a very personal cd for him ,it's still a great one!

A Classic:
Chayanne is one of my favorite artists. He is the best. His ballads are soothing, sentimental and catchy. Caprichosa is captivating. The whole album is enjoyable to listen to. I recommend this album with no reservations.
