Looks great but a bit hard to use.:
I've had this wine opener for about 6 months and I find I rarely use it because it is somewhat cumbersome compared to other hand-held wine openers that I have. The main problem is that the corking mechanism is not vertically adjustable so the bottle of wine has to dangle precariously in the air while you perform the operation. If you could adjust the mechanism to fit the height of each bottle of wine, this thing would be 5 stars. Other than that one complaint, I do find it to be very nice looking. We leave it on display with a nice bottle of wine resting on the wooden base. It's a very classy look.

Functional and attractive, nice product:
As a woman that enjoys wine and doesn't want to wait for her husband to open the bottle I love this product. It has been a fixture in our home for more than 5 years. If you have difficultly opening a good bottle of wine without leaving some cork behind, I highly recommend this item. It requires little strength or mechanical ability. You place the bottle into the holder, grip the side handles together and pull the rear lever to the front of the machine. You have a perfectly opened bottle of wine without cork every time. As an added bonus the wine opener is attractive enough to leave it out in public view at all times. I highly recommend this item.

wine opener:
Gave this as a wedding gift,no duplicates of this gift which was great. The party that recieved this was thrilled to death and let me know that they just love it and it works great. Also says its beautiful to diplay on any bar. everyone asks them where they got such a great opener

Recorks:
What makes this an exceptional item, is that it recorks the bottle very efficiently. I don't know of another consumer product that does this so well. You can recork aged bottles, or can save partial contents with the proper seal.

Great Wine Opener & More:
The Estate Wine Opener is great. It is well made and if wine is opened as often in your house as mine, then this is the way to go. It is effortless to remove the cork from the bottle. The great thing is that you can reseal the bottle half way thru the bottle, as long as you leave the cork on the cork screw after you open it. All of our frineds are impressed with it's operation and plan on getting one as well. It is a great product and it got me at least one "get out of jail free card" from my wife. So, get one, you will not be dissatisfied.
