[.ca] Baby Einstein Baby Macdonald

My 5 month old loves this video and so do I!:
Baby MacDonald is a wonderful video! It's filled with colour, movement, beautiful music, and charming video clips of farms around the world...there's everything from windmills in Holland and wheat fields in the Prairies to rice paddies in Asia. There's so much to look at in this video (including lots of animals!), my son never gets bored of it. Also cute are the puppet shows inserted into the video...my son loves them. There's one where a cow is picking apples and they keep falling on her head, another where pigs are going down a slide into a mud puddle that my son giggles at every time! This video is so cute that I really enjoy watching it with my son. I plan on getting more BE videos and I hope there are others as good as this one. (I already bought Baby Galileo and it was a HUGE disappointment!) If you enjoy farms, animals, or the outdoors, get this video for your baby! Note: The DVD is better than the video because the special features are great--about another 20 minutes of puppets shows, singing, and stories!

very adorable:
We let our 14 month old watch this video now it is requested everyday, multiple times. He is exposed to TV on occasion, but has never really paid much attention to it. He loves singing and dancing and likes this alot.

Enthralled!!!:
That is the best way to describe my daughter's reaction to this video. Packed with beautiful images and classical music in between skits and children's songs such as Old McDonald, this video engages my daughter time after time. She sings, dances, and has started to name the animals and farm equipment as it apprears on the screen. This video is not to long or too short. My suggestion to the reviewer who wanted to remind everyone that TV is bad for their children is that he/she watch the video. This video is nothing like TV. The images move slowly and they remain on the screen for some time. After watching it for the first time, adults would find this video eye-crossingly boring, but all the toddlers I know really enjoy the songs, skits and colorful scenes.

Can't get enough of it!!:
My 15 month old has been watching Baby MacDonald since his 1st birthday and can't get enough of it. He can tell mommy what sound a cow, horse, and rooster make. He even points to the cows and horses he sees as we drive in the car. We have most of the Baby Einstein collection and he loves them all. Highly recommend getting the collection.

Baby Einstein-Baby MacDonald:
My 23 month old daughter absolutely loves watching this show as well as Neighborhood Animals. It has really encouraged her to make animal sounds, point and name each one and sing a cute version of e-i-e-i-o with hers being "e-o" This is definitely one of her faves as well as ours.
